Carhartt Family Wines exists to promote human connection by bringing quality products and experiences to our members and customers.
Mike Carhartt grew up raising cattle and horses on the historic Rancho Santa Ynez™. Years later on that same ranch, he and his wife Brooke planted a vineyard along with a dream. Over 25 years later, the business has evolved quite a bit, but the same principles which guided us from the beginning are what continue to drive the brand forward.
Our company began with an initial planting of just seven acres of Merlot and three acres of Syrah back in 1996. Today, our estate has grown to encompass three separate vineyards, all with their own distinctive set of varietals and characteristics.
Our labels do much more than just display the name, a vineyard, or varietal. We carefully placed every single detail on the label, from the perforation to the color, to showcase exactly who we are, and what we stand for.
Although each team member oversees their own specific aspects of the business, we all wear many hats, as we believe it plays a key role in promoting teamwork and our overall success. It truly takes a village.
